The implications of decree-law 29/2020: convicts and accused of serious crimes temporarily released for health reasons related to Covid-19 emergency could be soon imprisoned again
Abstract. Sad chronicle of a case of schizophrenic state authorities: the judiciary believes that detainees whose health is in danger because of the coronavirus emergency should be admitted to home detention or deferment of the sentence; the government assumes that decisions must be reconsidered with reference to particularly dangerous detainees; and it obliges judges to move forward.
